New Features in Loop Editor Plus 1.1
Advanced Property Editing
Loop Editor 1.1 introduces our new "Plus" mode (requires a license key) that allows you to edit metadata properties for both Apple Loops and ACID files. It gives you everything Apple Loops Utility does and then some.
Advanced Playback Options
The new Playback panel gives you detailed control over Playback options. Adjust playback with varispeed or with pitch and time via speed, tempo, pitch or key. We also added playback quality control
Batch Export as Apple Loops & ACID
Apple Loops Utility is useful if all you need to do is create Apple Loops. But what if you want your loops to play well with others? Loop Editor now allows you to export your loops as Apple Loops and ACID.
Searchable Keyboard Shortcuts
We've made our already powerful and fully customizable keyboard shortcuts even better by adding a convenient search field. No more hunting when you need to find and customize a single command quickly!
Introducing Loop Editor Plus
Some Things Are Actually Free...
Loop editor is a simple (and free) audio loop editor. Designed in Cocoa from the ground up, Loop Editor proudly takes advantage of Quartz, CoreAudio, and other solid OS X interface features.
Loop Editor supports all audio file formats that support loop markers, including every type of looping available for any given format. Loop Editor is one of the only applications available that manages multiple loop makers (within files that support multiple loops).

Unlock the Potential
With version 1.1, we've add a brand new paid mode that we call Loop Editor Plus. Loop Editor Plus allows you to view and edit slices. It also sports advanced property editing capabilities. Because it handles so many more features for detailed loop editing, it's the perfect replacement for Apple Loops Utility.
Crossfades
Use Loop Editor's powerful crossfades to make your loops seamless. Enable crossfades in the Loop Inspector and you can adjust your crossfade length using the Length slider in the Inspector or the handles at the bottom of the loop markers, then adjust the curve with the Curve slider.
Slice and Dice
The new Slice Inspector allows you to add slices using musical notes, at divisions or using one of three powerful beta detection methods: Magnitude, Energy or Energy Bands.
A Novel Concept...
What You Need, When You Need It
Audiofile Engineering started in a studio, not a boardroom. Along the way, we realized one thing that plagued the world of audio software — inadequate end-user support. It has been our goal since day one to do everything we can to change this.
We take great pride in providing unparalleled technical support for our customers. Everything we do, even the process of developing our software, is done so with our customers in mind. We've gone to great lengths to improve our development workflow and quality control in order to prevent issues from happening in the first place. We've gone even further by implementing modern tools that allow us to support our customers better and faster than anyone else.
Introducing The Help Desk...
We had an idea — a big idea. What if a software application had everything it needed? Not just the features you need to get your work done, not just the bells and whistles and a pretty interface. What if we went even further? What if you could access all of our support resources IN the program? Now, that's an idea.
The Help Desk is totally unique to Audiofile Engineering software (patent pending, no kidding). Most Help menus launch your email application or your favorite web browser as soon as you choose an item. Not ours. Our revolutionary Help Desk gives you direct access to screencasts, documentation, release notes, software update options, license keys, debug options and support request submission and tracking. The Help Desk even tells you when manuals have been updated or new tutorials have been posted! You never have to leave the application, you always stay in the context of your work. You can submit your great feature request idea as soon as it comes to your mind without ever having to send an email or visit a website. It's a big idea, but we think it is an important one.

Made for Mac OS X
100% Pure Cocoa
Audiofile Engineering creates unique and high-quality audio software exclusively for Mac OS X. All of our applications are written in 100% pure Cocoa and make extensive use of core technologies in Mac OS X Tiger and Leopard. Because our software is written from the ground up in Cocoa, we are able to add features and fix issues significantly faster than other developers who are supporting legacy Carbon-based applications. As Mac OS X grows, so will our applications.
Core Audio
All of our applications make extensive use of
Core Audio, Apple's powerful audio API, for a high-quality, superior audio experience.
Audio Units
Wave Editor, Sample Manager & Rax fully support and make extensive use of built-in
Audio Units. Your favorite plugs by Universal Audio, iZotope, Audio Damage and others are welcome here.
Universal Binaries
Apple announced the transition to Intel processors in July of 2005. Our applications were
Universal Binaries in July of 2005. Coincidence? We think not.
Leopard-ready
All of our applications support
Mac OS X Leopard, the most impressive and powerful version of Mac OS X yet. Apple has done it again and we plan on putting many of the new features in Leopard to good use in the very near future.
AppleScript & Automator
We work well with others. Sample Manager is the only audio batch processor for Mac OS X to fully support
AppleScript & Automator. Wave Editor 2.0 will also add extensive AppleScript and Automator support.
Multicore
A perfect illustration of the power of pure Cocoa — advanced
Multicore support in Leopard. Brace yourself for even better performance on your multicore Intel Macs.
iDisk
One of Sample Manager's numerous actions uploads files automatically to your
iDisk. In the very near future, all of our applications will allow you to back up Keyboard Shortcuts and other important settings to your iDisk.
Spotlight
Whether its Sample Manager's powerful SmartGroups or standard Open dialogs, we support
Spotlight to help you find exactly what you're looking for.
OpenGL
Optimized for the Macintosh platform, Apple's
OpenGL implementation powers many of Spectre's beautiful meters.
Bonjour
Spectre is the first audio application for Mac OS X to make extensive use of AUNetSend/Receive. voXover's unique teleprompter is published to networked voXover clients via
Bonjour. No network configuration necessary.
